While leading talent relations at theSkimm, Erika books guests for the “9 to 5ish” podcast (previously “Skimm’d from The Couch”), as well as additional audio projects, managing both in-bound and out-bound pitches. She brainstorms potential guests to fit upcoming episode themes and ensures that the podcast featured successful guests with interesting stories from a wide variety of background and industries.

Erika schedules 9 to 5ish recordings, conducts preinterview phone calls and serves as point of contact and liaison when guests were in office or on location.

Since spring 2020, Erika successfully transitioned booked guests to record remotely, and ensuring that talent and teams are comfortable and understand all logistics before and during the recording.
